I was told today “It’s nice to meet someone who smiles.”

This reminded me of a quote I’ve always admired by Mother Teresa “We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do.”

Something to think about the next time you’re agonising over a recent interaction you’ve had, wondering whether what you said was good enough. Sometimes, we leave more of an impression than we think - I didn’t even realise I was smiling very much today but that’s what that person took from our conversation.

Remind yourself of the power of your smile and consider how much you may have already helped someone without realising.
